    Hi, I’m Daniel. I am a 4th year Chemical Engineering masters student. I undertook a placement year between my 3rd & 4th years at university. I worked in Research and Development at a coffee company called Jacobs Douwe Egberts (JDE). This placement year massively helped me in terms of personal and professional development. I would love to answer any questions that you may have on completing a placement year and I can share more on my own experience. I love cooking and making things, going on walks in the countryside, and listening to music. After my 2nd year, I took part in a 4-week ‘sustainability & culture’ exchange programme in Malaysia, staying at Sunway University. I had an incredible time learning about everything Malaysian, travelling in my free time, and meeting so many wonderful people. It was truly a life changing experience.     Hello, I'm Fardhin, currently in my second year of studying Aerospace Engineering. Ever since I was young, I’ve been fascinated by planes, how they move through the sky with such power and precision. That curiosity led me to explore how they function, and it’s what inspired me to pursue this field. As I continue my studies, I'm excited about the different paths my future could take. I’m considering becoming a pilot, which would bring me closer to my passion for flight, or possibly working as a chartered engineer, where I could help design and create the next generation of aircraft. Both paths excite me because they offer the chance to combine my love for aviation with the technical knowledge I’m developing now. I’m passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the aerospace field, and I'm excited to see where my journey takes me.
