Leeds Conservatoire was established in 1965 as Leeds Music Centre, providing a Light Music course with a significant focus on Jazz. More than 50 years later, it has become the largest conservatoire in the UK and provides students with a multi-disciplinary education in Classical; Film Music; Folk; Jazz; Music Business; Music Production; Popular Music; Songwriting

It also offers a specialist approach to music and drama training with degrees in acting, actor musician and musical theatre.
