Sally Armstrong is independent career guidance professional working in school with a range of individual clients at all stages – young people, undergraduates, graduates, and adults. After starting her career with HM Customs and Excise in London, she retrained, gaining an MA in Careers Guidance, and an NVQ in Advice and Guidance – her first post being with Lifetime Careers in Wiltshire. This evolved into Connexions, and Sally left the organisation in 2007 to work as an independent adviser in Salisbury. She is also author of three websites offering advice on higher education for advisers and teachers, students and parents. She now manages all UCAS education and applications for Bishop Wordsworth’s School and is their Careers Leader.
