This session will provide a ‘behind the scenes’ perspective on how admissions processes work at selective universities, offering an insight into how admissions decisions are made. Examples of competitive courses and their entry requirements will be referred to, along with examples of admissions processes from specific universities. Contextualised admissions will also be covered to explain how contextual information is used in admissions processes, and to provide examples of contextual admissions schemes.
