I work as a Senior Ambassador for the university assisting in admission, compliance, marketing, recruitment, international & future student experience. I also practice at Swansea Bay University Health Board, covering all 3 acute hospitals within Swansea & Neath Port Talbot jurisdiction. Previously, I was part of the School of Health and Social Care (SHSC), which includes a combined 68 UG & PGT/PGR Programme's, I liaised with teaching and non- teaching faculty as School Rep; leading student engagement, student experience, student voice & inclusivity partnership from 2023 to 2024. I had previously worked for the FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar™ as a Health & Safety Executive, HSV/HSE - HC. I am keen on Nurse Education & Nursing Research. I was part of the Center of Academic Success and Dept of Nursing's joint project of Peer - Assisted - Study - Session (PASS) facilitating Peer - Assisted - Study for UG Nursing students. My current project with Swansea University as a SPIN Intern in Dept of Nursing is to assist in learning and teaching materials and strategies for the nursing programmes of Swansea University. My interest and where I see myself doing something after graduation would be in acute care mainly in Ophthalmology 👁 - with Eyes👓, Intensive care in Cardiothoracic ❤️‍🩹- the heart 🫀and the lungs🫁, or Emergency Medicine🚑. Subsequently, I also see myself progressing into education 👨‍🏫 or leadership management👨‍💻in Infection Prevention Control and Professional, Patient and Healthcare Quality & Safety.

    I’m a current student on the MSc Advanced Professional Practice (Nursing and Midwifery Professions) programme, living in Cornwall and studying through a blended learning approach with the University of Plymouth. Previously studied BSc Biomedical Science on the Plymouth campus and FdSc Nursing Associate and BSc Nursing (Adult Health) on the Truro campus (both with the University of Plymouth). Currently practicing as a Registered Nurse in Cardiac and Respiratory health alongside my studies. Within the next 12 months, I'm hoping to obtain my Master's qualification and hope to one day teach as a lecturer at the University of Plymouth.
