Basic Summary Tab

This page is available to all providers and gives a basic overview of your performance, compared to your competitor group and the sector. It provides a direct replacement of the visuals provided in the previous ‘standard’ version of Application and Decision Tracker.

If you’re not using UCAS Tracker enhanced, you’ll still receive a high-level view of your performance.

Use this page to:

  • Filter your view to check on your position in the days running up to the Equal Consideration and June deadlines with the ‘days from deadline’ functionality.

Enhanced Summary

For providers who choose to subscribe to UCAS Tracker enhanced, this page provides an easy to view, in-depth picture of your overall provider-level data. It also provides a detailed view of your provider’s demographic profile and trends, including the ability to benchmark this insight.

Use this page to:

  • Explore your applicant profile and how this might be changing over time by using the customisable table to select from the available demographic variables and statistical measures.

  • Compare your demographic profile against tariff groups, as well as your competitor group and sector benchmarking options.

  • Export your favourite customised table views to CSV for onward use in your own systems or reports.

Top Tips for Summary Tabs

Untapped markets

Select ‘Country of Domicile’ in the customisable table to find out if there are international countries that your competitors are gaining applications from, that might represent an untapped market for you too.

Customisable tables

Customisable tables appear on several different pages in UCAS Tracker, and all work in similar ways. The more you use them, the more familiar you’ll become with the available variables and statistics.
