Jaz is a Business Account Manager with a focus on business engagement in Apprenticeships and overseeing an OFS (Office for Students) project on widening participation in the take-up of apprenticeships from under-represented groups. She’s passionate about social mobility and equity in education and career progression, with previous experience managing large-scale public sector social regeneration projects (inc. being part of London 2012), a former private sector consultant with Global Consultancy PERA, and an Independent business consultant in her own right. When not working at NTU she is pursuing a part-time PhD at Newcastle University Business School and a Mentor on the Black Industry Connections and Empowerment Programme at Nottingham University. She is an Alumni of Kings’ College London, with an MA in Ethical Leadership, and Level 7 in Careers Leadership from Warwick University. Also a mum, house renovator and proud ex-Londoner!
