Student Recruitment Officer for Degree Apprenticeships, Manchester Metropolitan University

Chris and Melissa both work as Student Recruitment Officer at Manchester Met, delivering Workshops and Presentations in feeder Schools and Colleges to Year 12 and 13 students. Melissa’s role (which until recently was Chris’s role) specifically focusses on delivering a range of topics directly relating to Degree Apprenticeships. This includes information on the range of Apprenticeships on offer, as well as the Application process, which differs from the UCAS University Application timeline. They also organise numerous Outreach Programmes including the ‘Aspire, Apply, Achieve’ Programme that takes place every October-December, providing a comprehensive guide to Degree Apprenticeships for those Year 13 students who are particularly interested in taking this route.
