Tom Steer has worked in higher education for almost ten years. He is currently Enquiries Manager at the University of Sussex, where he is responsible for all of the universities pre-application enquiries, and works with the wider recruitment team on school outreach activities and campus events. Before this, Tom worked in student recruitment for both home and UK-based international applicants. Tom has also previously worked in admissions roles at Birkbeck College, UCL, and University for the Creative Arts.

Tom went to university as a mature student, reading politics for his undergraduate degree at the University of Kent, followed by an MA in History from UCL.
