Sarah is a Senior Lecturer in Health Research and Deputy Director of Education in the Division of Health Research at Lancaster University. Her research interests are predominantly focused on supportive and palliative care, particularly patients’ and carers’ experiences of care, and symptom experience and management. Sarah has an interest in enabling students to learn effectively whatever their geographical location, and the pedagogical approaches which underpin this. Through her work, Sarah seeks to nurture excellence in learning and the approaches that enable this. She currently co-leads a new cross faculty teaching and learning initiative (Teach-Learn-Share) which aims to create opportunities and share good practice about teaching and learning.
