Claire has been involved with apprenticeships since 1994, working both as a provider and as part of the organisations that fund apprenticeships. In 2010, Claire started working for the National Apprenticeship Service (NAS), which is now part of the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). She has had several roles at NAS but, in her current role, she leads on the work done in schools to raise awareness of apprenticeships. The Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools (ASK) programme is there to support schools in meeting their statutory duty to provide impartial information, advice, and guidance (IAG) to students, which includes apprenticeships.
