Director of Apprenticeships at Manchester Metropolitan University UK, Liz is currently leading on the development and delivery of Degree Apprenticeships across the University. Liz and her team are working with over 400 global corporates, public sector organisations and SMEs to develop and successfully deliver a leading programme of university-based Degree and Masters Apprenticeships, including: Digital & Technology, Chartered Manager, Retail Leadership, Chemical Science, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Healthcare Science, Digital Masters, Digital Marketing, Social Work and the Senior Leader Degree Apprenticeship.

With over 2,000 degree apprentices on programme, including many award winners and high levels of student and employer satisfaction, Liz and the team have successfully grown the portfolio while maintaining quality. Liz has played an active role in many trailblazer groups and has also been advising employers, universities and governments on setting up these innovative programmes in New Zealand, Australia, Spain and Canada. Previously holding senior roles at the City Lit, London and the East Cheshire Business School, she has substantial experience of leadership and management and partnership development in a variety of settings.
