Huw’s role within the student recruitment team at The University of Manchester is leading work with supporting students, teachers and parents with information, advice and guidance about Higher Education. Since graduating from The University of Manchester in 2009, Huw has had a varied career in Higher Education, from student support and administration to supporting with the monitoring and evaluation of The University’s outreach and widening participation programmes. Most recently, between 2011 and 2015 he worked in UK/EU and international admissions in the School of Social Sciences at The University of Manchester, assessing and making decisions as part of the admissions team on 10,000 applications each year across 8 degree undergraduate degree courses.
