The UCAS academic reference plays an important role in admissions decisions. With qualification reforms happening across the UK, references are likely to become more important in sharing essential information about your students and your school or college.
This interactive session will cover what universities are looking for in academic references, and advice on writing and structuring the reference. The session uses real examples, to show what kind of information could make a difference to the outcome of your students’ applications.
This session will give teachers and advisers practical information, advice, and guidance about writing references. They can incorporate this into their work with students and applicants, and share information with their colleagues. The University of Manchester will also distribute its information, advice and guidance (IAG) leaflet.
