Kat currently works as an Undergraduate Marketing and Recruitment Officer (with a focus on schools liaison) at City, University of London. She joined the university having previously worked as UCAS Co-ordinator at a large further education college in the South West for three years – so she is in a unique position to have experienced the UCAS application process from both sides. Her current role involves speaking to teachers, advisers, parents and students across the country about topics, including personal statements, UCAS applications, student finance, and university interviews. She attended the UCAS conference several times herself in her previous role, and has also attended and spoken at a number of conferences. Kat has been working hard for the last few years to support all parties who are involved in putting together a UCAS application, to ensure everyone is comfortable with the process.
