With ten years in the sector, today Cailean leads the UCAS commercial arm supporting further and higher education providers to reach and convert students and consulting providers on the strategic trends in 10bn of data. Formerly, global lead for education at IBM for five years, has worked directly with 63 higher education providers in the UK, and scores of education providers across 16 countries, living and working on projects to support recruitment, admissions and marketing development. Cailean has also built out an education data consulting practice with technology company, Portal and led a business unit development in the Apprenticeship Levy response at the fastest growing awarding organisation, NCFE.
