One year on from the introduction of significant apprenticeship funding reforms, the market for higher and degree apprenticeships continues to develop and offer considerable opportunities to students, providers and employers. This workshop looks at how providers are working with a range of employers to manage the challenges associated with recruitment and admissions to higher and degree apprenticeships (HADA).
The workshop will aim to explore topics related to providers and employers working in partnership for promotion, recruitment and admissions to HADA, starting with brief introductions to practical case studies of current HEP–employer partnerships for higher and degree apprenticeships, and leading into a discussion of how challenges can be managed, and how providers can introduce and share good practice in this area. This workshop complements the 30-minute breakout session UCAS update on apprenticeships.
