Shoreditch is an artistic and cultural hub of London and attracts artists, musicians, creatives, entrepreneurs, and of course university students from all over the UK and the world. You can find affordable living arrangements, convenient transport links, street art, artisan coffee shops, street food markets, pop-up events and plenty of outdoor areas such as Regents Canal and Shoreditch Park to relax and unwind. There’s an impressive mixture of culture, energy and a booming live music scene, making it the ideal destination to study, work and live as a music student. 

A haven for lovers of live music, there’s a plethora of venues offering varying genres of music. The area is home to some of the best venues in the country such as Oval Space, the Old Blue Last, Village Underground, Cargo, and Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen, where many local and international artists play. There are also several nightclubs and bars in the area offering a range of networking and gigging opportunities.

There are 32 boroughs in Greater London, stretching from the City of London and Westminster, to surrounding areas like Chelsea, Camden, Richmond, Hackney and Islington.

It’s big, but it’s easy to jump on a train, tube or bus to experience everything on offer – from food pop-ups to world famous music acts, free museums and West End shows.

Fantastically diverse and historical, with many industries and businesses based here to kickstart your career, London is one of the most desirable – if pricey – cities in the world.

Campus and facilities

We are very excited to announce our brand new state-of-the-art facilities set to open in autumn 2024. The new space will offer an additional 16,000 square feet spread over two floors below our current Penn Street campus in Shoreditch and will include a new hub/club and performance area, two sound engineering classrooms,  six music production classrooms, a Pioneer DJ classroom, two vocal performance classrooms, nine practice studios and vocal booths. a library and breakout Booths.

Our two buildings in Shoreditch have excellent transport links with Old Street station served by the Northern line and overground services at Shoreditch High Street, Hoxton and Haggerston. There are multiple bus routes that pass through the area, including the 21, 76, and 141. Cycling is also popular in the area.
