At UCC we have a wide choice of programmes available for you to choose from, taught across our ten academic school departments and covering a diverse range of popular and contemporary subjects. We offer a unique learning experience, with technical and theoretical teaching embedded in our flexible full-time and part-time foundation and honours degree programmes, together with HNC/Ds, higher apprenticeships and postgraduate qualifications.

Our lecturers have worked extensively within their field or craft and many are still practising; their professional expertise and academic knowledge is highly valued by our students and provides an enlightening and unique understanding of the industry.

Located on Colchester Institute’s Colchester campus, University Centre Colchester (UCC) offers a wide range of full-time and part-time foundation and honours degrees, together with HNC/Ds, higher apprenticeships and postgraduate qualifications.

For over a half a century Colchester Institute has been delivering degrees and preparing students for successful careers in industry. In 2016 Colchester Institute successfully applied to deliver its degree provision under the name of University Centre Colchester.
