About Ravensbourne University London

We're an innovative, industry-focused university located next to the world-famous O2 on the vibrant Greenwich Peninsula.

Producing highly employable graduates

We have a community of approximately 2,600 students and offer practically focused digital media and design courses from pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate to professional short course level. Driven by industry standards and supported by the latest high-performance technology, we produce highly employable and enterprising graduates. We have a strong track record in graduate employability and business creation.

Ravensbourne also hosts alongside its student community more than 100 creative technology businesses that utilise its leading edge technologies and media resources, and collaborate with its student body and industry partners.

Top salaries for our creative graduates

When it comes to creative graduate salaries, Ravensbourne is the number one specialist university in the UK, and is in the top 10 of all institutions in England*

There is also a growing demand for the creative talents of our students from the digital, engineering and technical industries, which reflects the huge growth of the creative industries over recent years (30% between 2012 and 2016).

These results reflect the fact that at Ravensbourne University London, students are professional creatives from the day they join us. We work in close partnership with employers to foster the mindsets and skillsets that the creative industries need.

Our winning formula also ensures an extremely high post-graduation employment rate. In 2017, 96.4% of students were in work six months after graduating.

Our reputation and reach

In the 50 years since we were established, we've built a name for ourselves by producing some of Britain's finest - and most diverse - creative talent. We're currently in the top 20 in the EU and in the top 10 in the UK for Art & Design according to QS World University Rankings.

Music legend David Bowie, fashion designer Stella McCartney, 2012 Olympic torch designer Jay Osgerby and The King's Speech and Oscar winning producers Simon Egan and Gareth Unwin were all trained here. And thousands more of our alumni are making waves across their professions, with many picking up industry awards.

Our reputation is international - we were recently named one of the top 100 European design schools by Italian architecture and design magazine Domus.

We've got a strong track record in getting good jobs for our graduates, because we equip them with the practical skills they need to excel in the workplace. Our current graduate employability rate is an impressive 94.7%. So 19 out of 20 students are in employment or further study within 6 months of graduating. This figure is provided by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), and is based on 2015/16 graduates.
