Student support

As a Plymouth student, you will have access to a full range of non-academic and wellbeing support. A designated member of staff will become your personal tutor and a friendly face for the duration of your degree. They will support you with any issue, big or small, or will direct you to a suitable network if they can’t provide it themselves. The Student Hub is the University’s main source of support. Many friendly staff with a wide variety of skills offer advice and guidance – counselling, disability, mental health, cost of living and more – to our students throughout their studies. The University has a highly respected support system called the Peer Assisted Learning Scheme (PALS) for academic support, as well as the Writing Café for assessment support. Ultimately, there is support at the University for any student who needs it.
