Chester
Courses
The University of Chester offers full-time and part-time undergraduate degree options across a wide spectrum of subject areas, as well as a range of postgraduate courses and Foundation Year options.
Our academic faculties include: Arts and Humanities, Chester Business School, Education and Children's Services, Health and Social Care, Medicine and Life Sciences, Science and Engineering, and Social Science.
Our undergraduate courses are designed with a work-based learning component, so students develop hands-on skills alongside their theoretical education. Many offer a placement year, or a year working or studying abroad to open up as many opportunities as possible.
Teaching methods include in-person lectures, seminars, practical classes, skills labs and field trips; the use of digital technologies such as virtual reality and simulation suites (this varies from course to course and is tailored to each subject area); and online learning activities.
