You'll find many a festival – including the world-famous Glastonbury. And if you're a cider or cheese buff, you'll have plenty to try in the South West. You can always walk it off in Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks, or beautiful countryside from the Cotswolds to Land's End.

Cornwall, Dorset, and Devon are big coastal favourites, with idyllic beaches and waves to test the bravest surfers.

Campus and facilities

Our stunning campus is within walking distance of the bustling town of Cirencester, a thriving cultural hub, surrounded by beautiful Cotswold countryside. There is a restaurant at the heart of campus that serves meals from local producers while the Retreat Café and RAU shop provide drinks, snacks and essentials. Students can relax in the on-campus Tithe Barn Bar, which provides live music or DJs, or in the student lounge. With plenty of restaurants, unique boutique shops and popular night spots in Cirencester, it’s easy to see why so many students never want to leave – even after graduating. Urban adventure is close by too - Bath, Bristol, Oxford, and Cheltenham are all under an hour from the University and London is less than 90 minutes away by direct train.
