It all feels more real at Open Day – from the hall you’ll call home, to the immersive learning spaces, to the sights and sounds of a city by the sea. And we’ll introduce you to Portsmouth’s new Connected Degrees®, giving you a unique chance to add a paid placement after your final year of study.
Sat 9 November 2024 - 09:00 to 15:30

Portsmouth is the only university to offer Connected Degrees: a three-year course with a flexible fourth year placement. Most courses can be Connected Degrees.

This gives you more time to explore your career choices, and to find the perfect placement. It also means you can stay connected to the same friends throughout your studies. Then glide into professional life, with full support from the University throughout your placement. And if you prefer a placement year at the traditional time, you can opt to do it after year two.

Portsmouth is the university that sees you as you are: one-of-a-kind. When you join our friendly community, you won’t be expected to fit into a mould. Instead, we’re here to help you become even more you.
Our degrees are designed to give you the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to make your life anything you want it to be. Wherever you’re coming from, we’ll help you get to where you want to be.

A young and ambitious university, with a Gold rating in the latest Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) assessment, we’re officially recognised as one of the UK’s best universities for teaching. This means we provide a world-class education, and an outstanding and supportive student experience. We are also determined to boost your employability.

And if you need help with anything – from wellbeing to academic skills – there’s extensive support on tap. We also offer wide-ranging financial support including scholarships and bursaries. Whatever success means to you, you’ll find it at Portsmouth.
