This virtual event will give you the opportunity to experience a taster lecture delivered by Dr David Gillott, Senior Lecturer on the Biomedical Science BSc course at St George's.

The lecture will provide an overview of the structure of the heart and an explanation on basic cardiac functions. The systemic and pulmonary circulation are outlined, along with electrical conduction through the heart, the ECG and heart sounds.
This taster lecture will be followed by an information session involving staff and students on the Biomedical Science BSc course, giving you an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
