The UCAS mission is to inspire and empower people to make aspirational choices about the full range of post-16 options. The inclusion of apprenticeships on the UCAS Tariff will enhance the visibility of pathways to higher education for apprentices, and support universities and colleges to understand apprenticeships alongside A levels, T Levels, and other Level 3/SCQF Level 6 programmes of study.
Following a number of engagement exercises with the sector, UCAS is now progressing with implementing the Tariff points for Level 3/SCQF Level 6 apprenticeships.

UCAS will be providing enhanced support and guidance to all audience groups in the coming months.
Tariff points for Level 3 and SQCF Level 6 apprenticeships will be published on ucas.com in May 2025, and applicable to the September 2026 cycle.
