UKCAT survey prize draw terms and conditions

These are the terms and conditions for the UKCAT survey prize draw.

  1. The promoter is: THE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES ADMISSIONS SERVICE (company no. 2839815) whose registered office is Rosehill, New Barn Lane, Cheltenham, GL52 3LZ (“UCAS”).
  2. Employees of UCAS or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the draw or helping to set up the draw shall not be permitted to enter.
  3. This prize draw is being conducted by UCAS on behalf of the UKCAT Consortium (trading as “UKCAT”), a company registered in England and Wales with registration number 05620264, whose registered office is located at The Dean’s Office, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Nottingham, Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham NG7 2UH.
  4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this draw. However, all participants must have completed all questions including a question about whether they wish to enter this prize draw. All other responses to questions provided by the participant in the survey will not affect eligibility to enter this prize draw. .
  5. The closing date for entries is 23:59 (UK GMT time) on 22 January 2016. After this date, no further entries to the draw will be accepted.
  6. Five winners will be chosen at random from valid entries to win a £100 Amazon gift certificate.
  7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received by the closing date for whatever reason.
  8. UCAS reserves the right to cancel or amend the draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  9. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this draw.
  10. The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability and UCAS reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent or greater value without giving notice.
  11. The winners will be notified by email within 14 days of the closing date. If any of the winners cannot be contacted within seven days of notification, UCAS reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  12. UCAS’ decision in respect of all matters to do with the draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. By entering this draw, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  14. The draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
  15. The winners agree to the use of their name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party, other than UKCAT if consent is given, unless required or permitted by law.
  16. The winners’ names and countries of residence will be available 24 days after the closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to UCAS at the above address.
