UCAS Teacher Training #MyFirstDayTeaching prize draw terms and conditions
These are the terms and conditions for the UCAS Teacher Training #MyFirstDayTeaching prize draw
- The promoter is: THE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES ADMISSIONS SERVICE (company no. 2839815) whose registered office is Rosehill, New Barn Lane, Cheltenham, GL52 3LZ (“UCAS”).
- Employees of UCAS or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the draw or helping to set up the draw shall not be permitted to enter.
- This prize draw is being conducted by UCAS. No personal information gathered from this draw will be passed on to any third party.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this draw. However all participants must have posted a comment that provides insight into their first day of teaching or their first day on a teacher training programme either on the UCAS Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ucasonline) or on Twitter with the hashtag #MyFirstDayTeaching (‘Relevant Comment’). UCAS will determine, at its sole discretion, which entries are Relevant Comments.
- Entries may be submitted from 28 September and the closing date for entries is 23:59 (UK time) on 2 October 2015. After this date no further entries to the draw will be accepted.
- One winner in total will be chosen at random to win £100 of Love2Shop vouchers.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- UCAS reserves the right to cancel or amend the draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this draw.
- The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability and UCAS reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent or greater value without giving notice.
- The winner will be notified within 14 days of the closing date on Facebook or Twitter, depending on their route to entry. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not provide a postal address to which the prize can be sent within seven days of notification, UCAS reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winners and pick a replacement winner.
- UCAS’ decision in respect of all matters to do with the draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- UCAS will own the copyright in all entries. By entering, all contestants agree to assign copyright in their entries to UCAS.
- By entering this draw, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- The draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
- The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
- The winner’s name and county and the winning entry will be available 24 days after the closing date by sending a stamped addressed envelope to UCAS at the above address.
