UCAS newsletter prize draw terms and conditions
These are the terms and conditions for the 2016 UCAS newsletter prize draw.
- The promoter is: THE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES ADMISSIONS SERVICE (company no. 2839815) whose registered office is Rosehill, New Barn Lane, Cheltenham, GL52 3LZ (“UCAS”).
- Employees of UCAS or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the draw or helping to set up the draw shall not be permitted to enter.
- This prize draw is being conducted by UCAS. No personal information gathered from this draw will be passed on to any third party.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this draw. However, all participants must have supplied an email address and agreed to receive newsletters.
- The closing date for entries is 23:59 (UK time) on 1 February 2016. After this date, no further entries to the draw will be accepted.
- One winner will be chosen at random to win an iPad mini.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- UCAS reserves the right to cancel or amend the draw and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
- The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this draw.
- The prize is not transferable. The prize is subject to availability and UCAS reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent or greater value without giving notice.
- The winners will be notified by email within 14 days of the closing date. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not provide a postal address to which the prize can be sent within seven days of notification, UCAS reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winners and pick a replacement winner.
- UCAS’ decision in respect of all matters to do with the draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
