You can now access the beta version of our search tool

You can now access UCAS Undergraduate and UCAS Postgraduate courses in the beta version of our search tool.

Posted Wed 16 November 2016

You’ll see all the features previously delivered as part of the UCAS Postgraduate search tool, such as the ability to:

  • shortlist courses
  • save searches
  • filter results
  • view course details

We have now improved the filtering of both subjects and providers, as well as the filter between UCAS Undergraduate and UCAS Postgraduate courses. Alongside regular feedback on the search tool features, we’re also keen for you to let us know what you think about how UCAS Undergraduate and UCAS Postgraduate courses are displayed together in a single search tool. UCAS Conservatoires courses will be included in the beta search tool at a later date – we’ll let you know when they’ve been incorporated.

So you can see what courses will look like, we have created ‘The University of UCAS’ and added dummy undergraduate courses for:

  • art
  • history
  • mathematics

UCAS Undergraduate and UCAS Conservatoires courses entered into the beta collection tool will not move into the beta search tool, while we’re developing features of both. We’re planning on migrating all UCAS Undergraduate and UCAS Conservatoires courses from Course Collect into the beta collection tool over the coming months.

Your feedback is invaluable in helping shape our services – please use the feedback tab towards the top of the page to send us your comments. You can also feed back through your relationship manager and our webinars. We take an iterative approach, and we’re constantly developing our products even after release, so it’s really important to keep feeding back, as the beta will continue to evolve.

If you choose to register, you can feedback on additional functionality, such as shortlisting courses and saving searches, and you can try out the beta application management service for UCAS Postgraduate courses.
