Our network security service partner has recently introduced new digital certificates which offer an increased level of security when authenticating third party connections via xml-link. Further information can be found in bulletin 303 and we have also emailed technical contacts with full details.
We plan to adopt the new certificates into our HEP test environment from 09:00 on Saturday 10 January 2015. This will allow you to test your connections to xml-link prior to Sunday 1 February, when we will implement these new digital certificates into our live production services. If you do not upgrade your systems to support the new certificates by this time, you may not be able to access xml-link.
We don’t expect this change to the HEP test environment to have any adverse impact on live production services.
