We have now upgraded our FTP service (also known as the ‘firewall’) to a Secure File Transfer service. This will gradually become the main method of transferring analysis and research outputs to customers in place of the current FTP. We will inform you before any existing data sharing processes are changed.
Access to the service will be limited to UCAS Primary Correspondents – as it will be used to transfer both aggregate and individual data, some of which may contain sensitive information. Please refer to the
for step-by-step instructions on how to use the service.
You will soon receive an email from UCAS File Transfer Service with details on how to log in, how to make your password unique to you, and also a URL to access the service. If you haven’t received this email by Wednesday 17 September, or if you have any queries, please call our HEP Service Desk on 01242 545 734 or email hepservicedesk@ucas.ac.uk.
