Web-link training workshops

This half-day workshop is designed for staff working in undergraduate admissions, or other staff who may have a responsibility for managing undergraduate applicant data, and processing decisions.

Posted Wed 15 May 2019

Whether you're new to your role, or would benefit from a refresher, this workshop will help. It supports higher education provider staff in gaining a better understanding of web-link, examining the screens and sections of applicant data, and investigating the management and reference reporting functions. Through the practical use of a web-link training environment, delegates will have the opportunity to practice the mechanics of decision processing, through coding, free text, and offer-making shortcuts.

New users of web-link may be similarly new to the world of UCAS and undergraduate admissions. To set the scene, and to enhance users' understanding of web-link, we start the workshop by providing an overview of UCAS' undergraduate processes. This will focus on the main practices and procedures, key cycle dates, and good practice in offer-making.

Venue:

UCAS' offices in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Available dates:

  • Wednesday 5 June
  • Wednesday 19 June

Time:

Refreshments are available from 12:15, with the workshop running from 12:30 until 15:30.
