Our conference for teachers and advisers working with non-UK students applying to UK higher education is in its 11th year. The 2020 conference – its first year online – saw nearly 1,500 delegates register from around the world.
If you’re a practitioner, adviser, or researcher, with expertise in the recruitment and admissions of non-UK students to UK higher education, and would like to share your experience and ideas with the delegates, please submit a proposal for one of the following:
- 50-minute breakout session, which allows for either an interactive workshop, or a presentation, both followed by a live Q&A (30-minute session with up to 20 minutes for Q&A).
- 30-minute plenary addresses, including Q&A.
- 50-minute panel discussion (breakout or plenary) – these are normally highly interactive in-depth explorations of a topic, with audience participation throughout.
We’re looking for session ideas that will offer at least one of the following:
- practical advice to delegates in their day-to-day roles
- discussion of forthcoming/future developments in, or affecting, progression to higher education
- networking and discussion of good practice between delegates
Sessions should not seek to promote any specific provider(s) or courses.
Ideas for new sessions, and sessions for experienced delegates, are particularly welcome!
Speakers will be eligible to attend the conference on the day they are speaking free of charge (and will receive a discounted rate for the remainder of the event).
Please submit your session proposals for the 2021 online conference, by completing the attached template and emailing it to Helen Wakefield, Event Organiser, at h.wakefield@ucas.ac.uk, by Wednesday 6 January 2021.
