UCAS is joining with the National Education Opportunities Network (NEON) to present a half-day event on using data to shape best practice in widening participation.
The event is being held in Central London from 12:00 – 17:00 on Thursday 4 February. It’s suitable for practitioners with all levels of experience, and will feature presentations from experts, followed by a panel discussion with opportunities for Q&A from delegates.
Speakers include:
- Seth Fleet, Principal Analyst, UCAS. Seth has a background in the evaluation of widening participation activities and leads on the development and running of UCAS’ STROBE service.
- Jo McNeill, Fair Access in Admissions Manager, University of Liverpool. Jo will be talking about a pilot she is leading, using contextual data in admissions.
- Dr Graeme Atherton, Director, NEON – a national organisation supporting those involved in widening access to higher education and social mobility throughout the student lifecycle.
