UCAS and the UCAS Teacher Training (UTT) Advisory Group chair, Philip Bloor, are inviting expressions of interest from Education faculty colleagues to join the UTT Advisory Group.

The UTT Advisory Group’s role is to provide UCAS with a robust and representative voice of providers of the UCAS Teacher Training scheme, to enable consultation with the sector and to advise and make recommendations to UCAS on proposed changes to products and services relating to the UCAS Teacher Training scheme. Membership of the group is drawn from the full range of customers and providers including HEPs, schools and colleges, and SCITTS.

Members are expected to attend and actively contribute to three meetings a year (usually held at UCAS offices in Cheltenham), to provide feedback and input from the sector and to engage with UCAS about their experience of the UCAS Teacher Training scheme.

If you are interested in becoming part of this group, please send expressions of interest for these positions to groupsandforums@ucas.ac.uk by Wednesday 18 November 2015.

Please include your name, job title, your institution name and a little bit about why you wish to join this group and what you feel you can bring to it.

Expressions of interest will be reviewed by UCAS and the group’s chair and our decision will be communicated to each individual. We will invite the chosen new members to attend the next meeting of the group on 1 December at UCAS.

More information, including minutes of previous meetings and the terms of reference of this group can be found on our website.
