UCAS Tariff process update

The prioritisation phase of the UCAS Tariff process is now live, and will be open until the end of December.

Posted Wed 25 October 2017

The list of qualifications is divided into two sections:

  • fast-track – Level 3 qualifications that will automatically be added to the UCAS Tariff, due to their inclusion on the Department for Education ‘Applied General’, and ‘Tech level’ lists
  • standard – qualifications nominated by schools, colleges, and providers for inclusion
We are seeking feedback from you, regarding qualifications on the standard list, and how you rank these. The UCAS Qualifications Advisory Group has proposed to tighten the criteria and process for standard qualifications. Therefore, we would also like to know if you think the number of these is adequate. Please send your feedback, or questions, to qualsinfo@ucas.ac.uk by 31 December 2017. We’ll analyse your feedback, being sensitive to provider type, distinct progression routes, and widening participation.

You can find out more about the process and nominations here. The list of qualifications on the new Tariff will be updated next May.
