System security updates in the HEP test and live production environments – accrediting providers

To ensure our systems are protected by the latest security updates in line with our IT security commitment and ISO 27001 obligations, we will be applying security patches to all operating systems and databases in our cloud-based infrastructure.
 
These updates with result in the following systems and services being unavailable during particular time periods:

HEP test environment
The test environment will be unavailable on:

• Tuesday 17 February from 01:00 until 11:00
• Wednesday 18 February from 01:00 until 11:00

 Live production environment
 Planned operational system and service outages are scheduled for:

• Friday 27 February 18:00 until 08:00 on Monday 2 March
• Friday 6 March 18:00 until 08:00 on Monday 9 March

 During the above times the following systems will be unavailable:

• Net.update
• odbc-link
• web-link
• xml-link
• for applicants - Apply and Track

Please note that during these outage periods the daily RBD and DBD runs will be suspended.

We will notify applicants on ucas.com and via social media. Further reminders will be available in the UCAS Teacher Training fortnightly bulletin.
