To support you, we’ve produced a short video guide showing you how to do this.
There are lots of applicants still using the UCAS Teacher Training search tool to check which programmes have vacancies before applying for a place to start this September. If your programmes are listed as having vacancies, applicants will think you’re still actively recruiting to them.
Last year, from 24 July until 4 September 2015, over 1,000 applications were rejected by default because training providers did not give decisions by their deadline.
If you are leaving your programmes open over the summer, please regularly check for new applications and respond to them quickly. This will allow applicants you are not able to consider to progress their application on to a different training provider.
Many thanks for your support.
