There will be an additional fee loan for students ordinarily resident in Wales, whose fees increase as a result of changes elsewhere in the UK.

Welsh Government has also confirmed it will continue to implement its response to the Diamond Review. As such, eligible students will receive a student loan to cover the full tuition fee, and £1,000 a year in living costs support. Students may also be eligible for an additional means-tested maintenance grant, based on household income – with the highest level of support going to those most in need.
