We’re now in the JCQ results embargo period until 06:00 on Thursday 16 August 2018. With one more day to go, make sure you haven’t missed anything.
Top three things for you to check now:
- Have you disabled your applicant portal? If you can’t disable it, do you know which fields display to an applicant, and which could result in a breach if they’re not switched off?
- Are all your automated emails, letters, and notifications switched off? A change in an applicant’s status often triggers multiple notifications and feeds into various systems. Switch these off, and remove access so colleagues can’t send them.
- Do all business units know what they can and can’t do? Examples which have previously resulted in breaches include notifications from accommodation and finance teams, postal teams mailing out Confirmation letters, and even library card registration requests!
