Setting course requirements and information for 2016

Posted Wed 4 March 2015

In December last year, we notified you that the 2015 data in Course Collect had been successfully rolled over. This means that course type, course deadline, profile fields and details of course specific requirements were carried across as the default settings for the 2016 cycle. Please be aware that if you have since made any changes, added a new course, or changed course requirements for a 2015 course, these will not have been saved automatically to the 2016 course.

If you need to change any details, we recommend you do so by the end of March. This will ensure you have enough time to check the data and we can provide you with reports if you require them, before the course details are published in the search tool.

  • set course deadlines for 2016
  • change the equal consideration deadline
  • set invitation, interview, audition or portfolio information
  • set enhanced criminal convictions declaration
  • amend the Disclosure and Barring Service requirement against a 2016 programme
  • check or amend the admissions test information against a course

If your course information is already up-to-date and you plan on making no further changes, please confirm this by contacting our Data Collection Team at coursesdata@ucas.ac.uk.
