We would like to invite all providers to consider whether they would like to tender for the review of the Supporting Professionalism in Admissions (SPA) programme.
SPA was created in 2006 following recommendations from the Schwartz Report “Fair admissions to higher education: recommendations for good practice”. It is a national programme that aims to promote fair admissions and access to higher education in the UK by developing and leading on good practice in the recruitment and selection of students.
The current funding partnership for SPA ends in July 2015 and therefore the UCAS Board of Trustees has commissioned an independent review of SPA to:
- evaluate the effectiveness, impact and value for money of the SPA programme from 2012-13 to the present
- examine the future demand for services
- make recommendations about the future funding and delivery of these services
If you would like to participate in this tender, please submit your tender to Vikki Pickering at v.pickering@ucas.ac.uk. Please note that the organisation providing the successful tender will be required to attend the Review Steering Board in London on 30 October 2014.
This invitation to tender has been updated to close at noon on 23 October 2014 (UK time). If you have any questions or would like further information please contact Vikki.
