Reminder: UCAS Apprenticeship Advisory Group – expressions of interest

We’re looking for a Scottish provider to join the new UCAS Apprenticeship Advisory Group.

Posted Wed 9 June 2021

The Group will represent a broad spectrum of higher education providers that offer apprenticeships across the four nations. We are looking for a representative panel as part of our commitment to inclusion and diversity, and welcome EoI’s from women and under-represented groups.

The purpose of the Apprenticeship Advisory Group is to provide UCAS with a robust and representative voice about Apprenticeships, which includes key stakeholders, providers and employers. The Group will challenge, advise and make recommendations to UCAS on proposed developments and changes to products and services.

Members will be expected to be active in the sector, engage with the group, contribute to its activities, and seek views and feedback from their own networks and other groups. The draft Terms of Reference can be found on the groups and forums web page.

There will be three formal meetings each year held virtually, usually in February, June and October. Members of the Group will be expected to attend additional meetings when required.

Please send expressions of interest to groupsandforums@ucas.ac.uk by Friday 11 June, including your name, provider’s name and why you are interested in joining the Group.

The first meeting will be held from 10.30 - 12.30 on Wednesday 23 June.
