Reminder for IT teams

We’ve noticed that some providers are performing internal vulnerability scans to ensure the security of their own systems.

This is great to see (and please be assured we always do this ourselves), but technical teams at providers are reminded to make sure the configuration of these scans does not inadvertently include UCAS services.

We have a number of automated defences in place that could interpret these scans as malicious activity, which may result in connection to our services being temporarily suspended. To ensure this does not happen, please ask your IT security teams to check their scanning configurations.
