UCAS will continue to process applications until 21 September 2015. For any applications made after this date – but before 21 October 2015, or for any applications that have been made directly to you for a course that is recruited for through UCAS – you are obliged to complete a Record of Prior Acceptance (RPA).
The RPA process allows us to complete an accurate record of those applying to and accepting places in higher education, and assists providers in compiling student records and avoiding fraud.
You can access the RPA through web-link. The information requested is the minimum required to complete a UCAS application, and what you need for your HESA return. Before completing an RPA, you should carry out checks via web-link to ensure the applicant has not already made an application through UCAS. There is no application fee for an RPA, but we do charge the capitation fee.
It is possible to download a PDF of the RPA form via web-link for applicants to complete, however we encourage providers to enter the information directly into web-link from their own records, rather than asking applicants to complete any paperwork.
If you require any further support with the RPA process, please contact the HEP Team on 01242 545 734.
