We are running a marketing campaign to promote the not too late messaging for the 2015 cycle. This involves:
- Social media– we’re driving potential applicants to our information on ucas.com and the application service.
- Paid for advertising – across our social and online platforms, we are targeting those who are likely to apply for a teaching programme, based on demographics.
- Emailing applicants – to raise their awareness of Apply 2 and to give advice about how they can add an additional choice. On 4 September, we’ll be sending one of three emails to applicants, based on how long they’ve been eligible to use Apply 2:
- the first email is sent to applicants within a month of them entering Apply 2
- the second email is sent to applicants who don’t use the service after a month
- the third and final email is sent to applicants to remind them of the service
- Information pack – we’re continuing to promote our information pack to those who haven’t started but are considering an application. Over 27,000 people have now signed up for theirs.
2016 cycle messaging will commence mid-September, following the close of Apply 1.
