The reason(s) are available to you to log via web-link and xml-link to use in situations where you are awaiting information from applicants as proof to meet offer conditions, e.g., additional results or non-academic conditions.
Reasons for Confirmation pending can be added in web-link by selecting ‘Confirmation Pending’ on an offer and then choosing the reason from the pre-populated options (shown below).
This is separate to a Delayed Confirmation Decision (DCF), which can be added by selecting ‘Confirmation Delay'.This extends the Confirmation RBD for an applicant if they need more time to meet conditions. It is not possible to add a reason for Confirmation pending to a DCF.
The pre-populated list of reasons includes ‘other’, along with a free text response. This can be used to give specific instructions on any actions the applicant would need to take, e.g. sending documentation to a specific email address at your provider. The full list of reasons for pending Confirmation decisions can be found below.
This option is available for use on CF and CI choices but will only be visible to applicants who have a CF choice. If a CI choice (with reason(s)) is uprated to CF, the reasons will then become visible.
