We will publish the 15 January deadline applicant statistics and analysis for the 2017 cycle on ucas.com at 00:01 tomorrow (Thursday 2 February 2017).
15 January application rates
The ‘UK application rates by the January deadline’ report looks at application rates for those who submit their applications to UCAS by the 15 January deadline, and gives the first reliable indicator of demand for full-time higher education from young people in the UK. This report looks at application rates by UK country, region, parliamentary constituency, sex, age, background, and qualifications.
2017 applicant figures
We will publish the same reports as we did for the 2016 cycle, alongside a new sector level report on ethnic group. This year we will also be making the data available in CSV format.
In addition, we will publish three reports which cover applicants to nursing courses (those courses within subject group ‘B7’). Preview versions of the PDF reports and CSV files are available now.
You can view and download preview versions of all the above reports here.
A set of reports at provider level will also be made available to you. These reports cover applicants to your university or college (for consistency, some graphs are left blank if you have very small numbers), and can help you see how you fit into the sector. They will be available to download from MOVEit (our secure file transfer service) – find out more about how to use MOVEit. If you need to reset your password, please raise a ticket through our technical self-service portal.
