As in previous cycles, we’ll supply these statistics to HEFCW on your behalf, if you’re happy for us to do so. HEFCW has given us a list of providers who they view as having agreed to this.
The statistics cover accepted applicants for 2015-16 and 2016-17 entry, and whether those acceptances are ‘immediate’ or ‘deferred’ from the preceding cycle. They also report by some approximations to categories of student that either are (such as some nursing courses), or have been (such as the ABB+ categories), relevant to HEFCW’s funding.
We’ll provide statistics about your provider – including those numbers provided to HEFCW on your behalf – as one of the provider-level Clearing statistical reports via MOVEit (the secure file transfer service), to which your UCAS Primary Correspondent has access. We’ll provide more details on these statistics, and how to access them, later this month.
If you do not want us to provide the data on your behalf, please email arc@ucas.ac.uk to let us know. If you let us know by Monday 12 September, this will be implemented in time for the reference point of Thursday 15 September 2016.
We’d also like to remind you about our intention to supply HEFCE and UUK with statistics on your behalf over the Confirmation and Clearing period this year – as communicated to you in bulletin 384. If you wish to opt out of either of these supplies, please let us know at arc@ucas.ac.uk. The first reference point for these supplies is Thursday 18 August.
